Admission Philosophy

Students of Character
Freedom Generation Higher Education seeks students of strong character, curiosity, and a willingness to grow who are prepared to thrive in a Christ-centered academic environment. Because we believe education is a partnership between the family and the school, we also seek families who share our commitment to biblical truth, academic excellence, personal responsibility, and the development of young people who are prepared to serve and lead with conviction.
Our admissions process is designed to help determine whether Freedom Generation is the right fit for both the student and the family. Depending on the student's grade level and circumstances, we may consider previous academic records, parent and student questionnaires, teacher or administrator recommendations, interviews, and academic assessments. We recognize that students are individuals, and no single test score, transcript, or measurement tells the whole story of who a child is or what he or she is capable of becoming.
More Than an Application
Our goal throughout the admissions process is to get to know your family and your child—and to give your family the opportunity to truly get to know Freedom Generation.
We want to understand each student's academic needs, strengths, interests, character, and goals. Just as importantly, we want parents to understand our biblical worldview, Classical Christian educational philosophy, academic expectations, school culture, and the partnership we seek to build with families.
We believe parents are their children's first and most important educators, and Freedom Generation exists to come alongside them. The best admissions decisions are therefore not simply about whether a student can meet academic requirements. They are about determining whether there is a strong partnership between the student, family, and Freedom Generation.
Our desire is to provide an environment where students can be known personally, challenged academically, discipled spiritually, and encouraged to discover and develop the unique gifts God has given them.
